In this post, I’m going to guide you through the process, so you can give your opinion and get your chance at winning the $1,000 gift card (plus a few tips & tricks I’ve learned).

Let’s begin!

What is is the site where you are invited to give your feedback as a customer to Shoppers Drug Mart for a chance to win a $1,000 gift card to Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix. 

If you win the grand prize, you actually have the option to receive either the $1,000 gift card, or 1,000,000 PC Optimum points which has a retail value of about $1,000 CND. So that’s pretty cool that they provide some flexibility there to the winners.

With this contest, you can enter up to 5 times per month per person. And there s one drawing held every month, during this drawing two potential winners are selected. So enter often to increase your odds of winning!

And you don’t even need a receipt to enter (more on that later).

If you’re not interested in entering the sweepstakes for the $1,000 gift card, that’s totally fine too. You can just provide your feedback and leave without entering the contest. But if you take the time to complete the survey, I say why not take an extra 30 seconds at the end and enter the sweepstakes!

There are actually 2 ways to complete this survey and enter to win the grand prize.

Option 1: Online Method – this is what we will focus on here

Option 2: By Phone

To enter by phone, call 1-800-701-9163 and complete the Survey via their Interactive Voice Response system (“IVR”). Personally I have not done it this way, so you’re on your own with that one!

How to Take the Survey

To take the online version of this survey, no receipt is required. However, if you do have a receipt with the survey invitation on it, have that handy before taking the survey, as there are two different ways to take the survey based on whether or not you have a receipt.

Step 1:

Visit the online survey by going to On this page you will click on your desired language, I clicked “English”. It should look something like this:

Step 2:

This is the page where you can enter your 15-digit certificate number if you have a receipt. If you don’t have a receipt, check the box below the button labeled “Don’t have receipt”, then click “Launch”. This is the option I took for this example.

Step 3:

This is what the page looks like if you didn’t have a receipt. If you entered the 15 digit number on the previous page from your receipt, your page may look a little different. But in either case this is where you begin the survey. 

Step 4:

Complete the survey as honestly and openly as possible. I won’t go through each step of the survey, as it’s pretty self explanatory. Just answer the simple questions and click “Next”. 

Quick Tip: I did notice that there was an option to answer a few additional questions for another chance to win the $1,000 gift card, I answered YES and it just gave me a few very simple questions to double my chances of winning. I recommend doing this to double your chances too.

Step 5:

At the end of the survey, it thanks you for participating, and asks if you would like to enter the contest for $1,000 gift card. Looks like this:

By default “No” is selected, so be sure to pay attention and click “Yes” before you hit the Next button. You will not be entered into the contest if you do not do this.

After you click Yes, a short form will appear to enter your contact details, along with a couple of checkboxes, so they can let you know if you are a winner. 

After that, just hit “Next” and you’re entered and ready to go!

The winners are notified within 7 days of the drawing date either by phone or email, so be sure your contact information is correct. Here’s the schedule for the drawings for 2024:

Natasha was helping me out and I can definitely say she went above and beyond to make sure I had everything on point. I highly recommend going to her if you are looking to buy any beauty products.   3. Shoppers Drug Mart on 795 Keewatin St is the store I always go. Mostly, it’s Thursday I do my shopping for senior discount day. I do appreciate Sandra for her amazing service and assistance every time I’m in the store. She’s so awesome.

  4. Had an issue with presto recharge and the lady near the cash counter was so rude and not helpful at all. Later on CRIS came to help us and solved the issue. I want to bring this to the attention of manager and she should be rewarded. Thank you!!

  7. It would be a good idea to have the flyers posted on smart canucks legible. Once in a while they get it right but for the most part it is disorganized, blurry, dark, pics background obviously from someone’s floor. Would be nice to be able to view what is on sale. Also, too many pages, seems they have the entire store advertising rather than just the sale items, too much to go through…

I visited the Mic Mac Mall shoppers in Dartmouth Nova Scotia to get my COVID shot and I am terrified of needles so I went in and I stared crying a little bit and the worker her name was Kyla was logging people in and keeping track of how long the people were waiting afterwards. She was so kind and sweet and talked to me about some of my interests to distract me. I think she finished her shift when I was in the room getting my vaccine and on her way out she asked how it went. Such an amazing person and employee, definitely made my experience so much better!! (Didn’t have a receipt so had to comment)

  11. I have been prompted many times to complete your survey. However the first question on the survey asks for a 25 digit certificats number from a recent receipt. Most of my SDM receipts do not have this number. This is an extremely frustrating waste of time.

    1. We went to shopper drug mart and we meet Amat there. She was incredibly helpful, she helped us find perfumes and makeup products. She guided us to find the perfect products for my skin. Overall she was an amazing helper, gyder, and someone to talk to!

  14. I would like to commend the manager that was on duty during my visit to his store on Friday, April 24, 2020. After making my purchase, I left the store and returned to my car, which had a dead battery. I did not have a cell phone with me, so returned to the store to ask about using their phone to call my son. Instead the lovely cashier called her manager. Tyrell came, and brought his car around, and gave my car the boost that it needed. I just wanted to say that their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond will always be remembered. I would highly recommend this store as a lovely, caring place to shop. I know I will be returning! I would have done the survey but could not seem to provide the correct number from my receipt.   16. Hello , today I went to Shoppers Drug Mart 23/11/19 and wanted to pick up some diet pepsi and replay my Lotto Max tickets which I have played same numbers for a very long time . First there were no Diet Pepsi at all for the second consecutive weekend and the reason I was told was that the Pepsi truck didn’t show up and there were no rain checks allowed . I give my 4 lottery tickets to the cashier to check and replay , as she was entering the items I was purchasing I noticed that one of my tickets wasn’t replayed and she could not find it . Since there was a long line up I told her I would wait and then the cashier that served me went somewhere and left the other cashier who had no idea regarding my situation . While she was looking she said I could just fill out another slip but that wouldn’t give me the same bonus numbers . In the end I was not happy about the situation and left the store . I had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago where the cashier didn’t give me my winnings when she scanned my items and I didn’t realize until later on . I know her count would have been off at the end of her shift with the lottery machine total . So now I can’t play the same numbers I have for over a year .
