  1. I had a shirt that I bought for my husband that didn’t fit. So, I was returning it for a credit on my charge card. There was some confusion in the store with another person checking out, and I did not get a receipt when completing my transaction. When I arrived at the T. J. Max store on North Oracle Road in Tucson, I was met by Edith Taves who offered to help with the return. Now I often shop in this store, but I have never had reason to need help with a return. Edith looked up in her records to find my transaction. Not having the receipt caused some dilemma in finding the record of purchase. She spent her time with me in a cordial, business-like manner until the item was found and the purchase price was returned to my card. I want to thank T. J. Maxx for having Edith as an employee as she is certainly an asset to the company because of her demeanor. This is in response to survey #0665045510

  2. I was at the store in Willmar,mn. I just bought a bar of really good smelling soap. I use it all the time. The help was very nice in getting us through there. It was a good experience. A very nice store.

  3. I shopped at TJmaxx assembly sq marketplace, Somerville MA on 08/19/2023 and just checked my receipt. I am shocked that I was charged $16.99 for an item I did not buy and was not in my cart. I don’t think this was a mistake but an intentional theft by your check out staff and I recall a similar incident last year where I had found an extra charge and had it removed. At the time I thought it was a mistake but now I am convinced that it is a deliberate way to steal from unsuspecting customers.
    I have my receipt number 80713 2 9796 08/19/2023 18:05:59 1013
    Amount $76.95 paid in cash

  5. On May 8th I made a large purchase at the TJMaxx in Winder, GA. The cashier convinced me to sign up for a TJ Maxx credit card for 10% off and I agreed. I was given a temporary shopping pass while waiting for the actual credit card to arrive in the mail. Unfortunately, it never did. Nevertheless, I decided to return to the store on 6/2 to return a couple of items that I had purchased. I had my original shopping receipt so I did not expect any problems. I waited in a long line of customers only to be told by the cashier that I needed to have my temp shopping pass too in order to credit my account. I did not have it as I thought the receipt would be sufficient to get a credit back to my TJ Maxx account. (It is in every other store!) This was terribly inconvenient as it was a 20 minute drive for me. We tried calling the customer service hotline for my account number but they would not release it. I had ID with me and the cashier could’ve verified my identity. A link was even sent to my phone to confirm my identity so a new credit card could be mailed out to me again. However, I was told under no circumstance would they give me or the store cashier my credit card # for the return. How ridiculous! After all, this was a CREDIT to the account, not a purchase. I was terribly upset and returned home to retrieve the temp shopping pass. I then drove to TJ Maxx in Buford, GA (20 min drive in other direction) to return the items. I waited in another long line to be served. The 2nd cashier tried to complete the return but could not since she said my temporary shopping pass was now expired. I am beyond frustrated! Two round trips and I was not able to resolve my return. I could not believe this was how TJ Maxx does business. I was told that I have to wait until the reissued credit card arrives and then I can make a third attempt to return my items. This is NOT good customer service!

  6. My cashier, Gloria @ tjm in Meriden,ct on 5/20/2023, went over and above the needs of this customer!
She took care with bagging my $300 dollar purchases into large bags. She then ran from her station into the pouring rain to assist me *4 times* with my
purchases. I thanked her profusely for her genuine kindness. I would love to have had her working for my company. I hope she gets acknowledged besides from me 🙂
I came in with a headache and left with a happy smile, largely because of G-L-O-R-I-A!!
    (don’t know her last name)

  7. Very impressed with Ally at the Rochester, Minnesota store, where I was shopping with my mom on May 15, 2023. We had a problem with an alarm clock, which required a return, and we were in that area. Allie offered her help. There was a number missing on the product number on the receipt, and, she told us she would take it to the checkout desk, complete the number, and it would be waiting for us at checkout for return, when we were ready. And, it was. She was friendly, smiling, went above and beyond to help us. She really made our day. You are blessed to have her on your team. Thank you, Allie!

  8. for comparison pricing on runway items- the pricing is getting way off, it is overpriced more than at a Neiman Marcus, Saks, Nordstrom or Bergdorf Goodman and that isn’t factoring in the rewards or gift cards promotions that are offered to customers at those stores that would reduce the price further; with tjx as a discount store to only offer one off of items and not even allowing the customer to usually return items to store, forcing mail returns only the prices need to be more competitive
current example: item Style #:1000796049 ysl sandal has a “comparison price listed $925” which inflates the sale price to $740, at most it is $899 full price and that is at a high end luxury store with premium shopping experience included, earning reward points there and not including a promotion applied or gift card that would reduce the cost at that store in multiple sizes and color options, making it a better deal than $740. it’s also important to realize sometimes these items at tjx are defective and the customer is also taking the chance of receiving a defective item, which is an inconvenience so to pay a premium price for this isn’t justified, as a high end shopping customer I would recommend someone paying more attention to pricing and not trying to gauge customers it will drive the high end customers away -who are savvy enough to know they can pay the same price maybe few bucks more or less at their favorite high end store with better shopping quality, selection and experience. also most of these items are arriving to tjx for a reason if you read reviews on these items sold at other stores they are the less desirable styles that are ending up at tjx therefore they end up selling even at a discount at high end stores or being sent out to discount stores as rejects and should not be sold for a premium at tjx, think about the business model, doesn’t adhere to “company’s off-price business model”

  12. I was at tj maxx in edmond, Oklahoma today and I was extremely dissatisfied with the way an employee talked to another employee. A young lady named Michele was yelling at another employee because she was trying to help her. The other lady is always nice when I come in the store. I don’t think I will be coming in for a while. I’m very disappointed in the way Michele talked to her and I don’t want to take a chance of having to deal with that young girl. It would be nice to see older women or young ladies with better morales than that girl I seen today.

  13. Ms. Anita K is an outstanding employee of TJ MAXX located in Evergreen Park,IL. She is always pleasant and helpful.

  14. My Saleslady at the TJ Maxx in Aurora, CO was Incredible! Her expertise and knowledge in jewelry and Herbal Oils, was remarkable. Her name is Wafaa, at the store on Iliff and Parker Road.
